July is UV Safety Month! This month we’re bringing awareness to the harmful effects of overexposure to UV rays from the sun. In the U.S. UV rays are at their highest intensity during the hours of 10 am and 4 pm. Overexposure from UV rays can cause serious injuries to your eyes and skin. Some of which include but are not limited to:

  • Sunburn
  • Skin Cancer
  • Cataracts

For the upcoming summer months, make sure to keep a pair of sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen handy to protect your skin and eyes from UV rays.
